Biography
In a few words…
I was born in Rome on August 23rd, 1960, and at 11 I began to play piano. I realized pretty soon that learning to play would be of great help to write music. My love for jazz music arose thanks to an LP by Thelonious Monk which my father bought, and then it never faded, growing at the same pace with my interest for classical music.
And then came my passion for soundtrack music. When I go out of a movie theater I think about the music I’ve just listened to, and often I don’t even remember the plot of the movie I’ve just watched.
I can’t stand the overlapping of noises, voices, background music. I love the thin borderline between music and silence.
